Another year, another Academy Awards. Sunday March 27th the 94th Oscars premiered, with the theme of “Movie Lovers Unite.” While the Oscars are an awards show for film, the A list celebrities who are invited kill it with their designer outfits.
Let's start with Lily James styled in Versace, an elegant soft pink gown with floral embroidery. She decided to stick with all pink including her makeup and shoes that really pulls the look together, she even matched her necklace to the straps on her dress. Lily's overall look was beautiful and definitely gave her a princess aura.
While not every celebrity will be styled the same, another beautiful look was Meghan Thee Stallion. Wearing Gurav Gupta she looks incredible in this sophisticated look. The shimmery touch to the material along with the structure of the train is unbelievable. Her look overall gives off so much class.
Now not every celebrity who attended got lucky with their wardrobe. Julia Fox was wearing Han Kjobenhavn, a full leather dress with skull hands gripping the neck and a purse made with real hair. This look gives more halloween costume than something to wear to the Oscars. Another look that was disappointing was unfortunately Billie Eilish. Billie was wearing a Gucci dress that looked like a ruffled trash bag. Unfortunately for these stars they were not fan favorites this year with these looks.
This year's Oscars will be one to go down in history for not only the “slap heard around the world,” but also for the red carpet fashion. Celebrities pick their stylist to make statements, create an image, and bring it to life which we saw quite a lot of this year. These outfits will leave people talking for weeks and the only thing we can do is wait until the next event.
